Mission Possible (part III)

Wednesday, June 28th, 2006

Mission completed, but the result - fail… Yeah, many people complained that the picture I took from her room was too blur to see. Thank you for the feedback. So now I have a new mission, haha…
My new mission, is still a mission possible - is to take a real nice picture of her, or with her. Not picture of her picture anymore. Sounds easy right? Just go to her with my camera, say " Hi Maike, can I take a picture of you?" Or if Vik is around, Vik can hold the camera, then I can take a picture with her. Well, I am thinking, if it is so easy, why did I sneak into her room in the first place? Of course there are some reasons behind. First, I do NOT like her. Second, I am too shy to ask. Third, she is going to think I am strange (I am already quite strange for her I guess).
So people, if I really have a chance, some special occasion or something like that, I will try ok? But not out of sudden la, "pai seh" ler… Not that she is really a friend of mine…
By the way, I received a very challenging (and disgusting?) suggestion from a friend back home, when I was chatting with him on MSN few days ago. "Make a video of her on the bed with her boyfriend", this was his idea. Sorry man, I only do mission possible, no mission impossible ya…

Wahahhahahah!!! I got her picture already!!! Ladies and gentlemen, let me present to you - deng deng deng deng - Maike!!!

Mission Possible (part I)

Tuesday, June 27th, 2006

Ok, now is the chance… I am all alone at home… I could have just open her room door, go inside and take a picture of her photo… But too bad, I am such a chicken shit ler…
Mission_001Hahaha, I guess I am just not the kind of person who can do this kind of thing. Actually I was acting a bit funny earlier on, checking if she is in her room by pretending to sit at the balcony, as she always let her back room door wide open (sometimes front door as well). Then I took a quick glance through her room, nope, she is definitely not there. So I went to grab my camera, prepared to sneak into her room. My hand was already on the doorknob, when I suddenly back out.  All the "what if…"  thoughts flooded my mind, "what if she comes back suddenly?" " what if she has a security camera hidden somewhere in her room?" (this one is stupid, why would she need a security camera in her room?)

Anyway, I went back to my room again. Nah… Not this time. Mission failed today. Perhaps I will have the courage to do this tomorrow? hehehehe… (to be continued) Mission_004_1

Cleaning her “s**t” for her again…

Monday, June 26th, 2006

I hope this will not be a long entry, because I just wanna let it all out la… it’s actually some negative stuffs that I am going to write…
Remember Maike? It’s about her… She has been leaving her plates and glasses unwashed in the kitchen sink for far too many times… Initially I thought it must be difficult for her to wash, because of "the fall". So I cleaned it for her. Then sometimes she washes her own plates also, so I was like ok lo, I help her when she didn’t wash lo. But recently, it’s becoming too much to bear la… After cooking, she just left all the pans and pots there. To make things worse, she can cook half way, leave her food in the pan, and then just disappear into her room and talk to someone on the phone one wor… Ehh hello, the kitchen is not really that big hor… No wonder Vik is calling her "b***h" lately…
I was chatting with a friend just now, after washing her glasses again (I regreted doing that la, cause I heard her smiling so loud on the phone talking to her dunno who, right after I finish washing). I told my friend, one day when she is not around, I am going to sneak into her room, and take a picture of her picture for you to see her face!

Will Germany Go All The Way To The Final?

Saturday, June 24th, 2006

FIFA World Cup 2006, a great event which takes place in Germany this year.
I am lucky to be here at this point of time, as I get to watch almost all the matches on TV.
Today’s game, Germany versus Sweden, ended with the result 2:0. I was happy of course, but trust me, I was just happy, some people out there, the real Germans, they were extremely super duper happy. Many German fans drove around with German flags in their cars, honking, shouting and waving to people on the street. Amazingly, they can do this for hours! Vik told me it is better to stay at home when these people are "demonstrating", you wouldn’t know what they will do, as some of them are drunk and you know what I mean.
Street
I wish Germany the best of luck. Are they going to play against Argentina or Mexico in the quarter final? Will they be able to make it to the final, like how they did it in year 2002? We will find out on 30th June. Go Germany, I support you!

Ger_004_1 Football toilet paper, it’s light green in colour and smells like grass! haha…

哈哈!真是有趣,我好久没写华文了,要谢谢SooLing,若不是你,恐怕我也不会有想写华语的冲动。
好了,玩够了。今天到此为止。再见了。

Give Thanks…

Thursday, June 22nd, 2006

I feel extremely grateful these few days, for many reasons, to many persons…

To Viktor, the love of my life, I know you won’t be reading my blogs, but still you are on the top of my list. For everything you have done, still doing and will continue to do so in the future for us, I want to say thank you, and I truly appreciate it.

To my parents, my brother and sister back home, and not to forget my brother-in-law as well, the Tan family. For the unconditional acceptance and unquestionable trust you all show towards me and Vik, I want to say thank you, and I love you all.

To my ex secondary schoolmates, Selena, Cheng, Ho, Wan Wei, Cheok and Ai Yong etc. For the nice party, nice presents, nice time we spent together and most of all, being nice friends to me since many years back, and still keeping in touch with me now, I want to say thank you, I will keep you all in my heart.

To my ex colleagues in JAM, Sue, Louise, Ian, Cheryl, Phang, Jane, Ivan and Fariska etc. For the support, the friendship, the so-much-fun karaoke sessions, the ridiculous yet amusing comics, and the joyful experience of working with you all, I want to say thank you, I miss you all.

To my ex coursemates from TARC, the DCL group, Grace, Soo Yean, Kar Liang, Yean Fang, Christina, Wai Yee etc. For tolerating with my weaknesses and being with me when I am in need, I want to say thank you, I will continue to grow and be a better person.

The list continues, to Deborah, Miss Chai, Alvin, Miss Yeo, and many many more, I am quite sure that you will not be reading this blog of mine, but still, I want to say thank you…

For life, which I once detested and abominated… Today, I want to say thank you.

Another Malaysian Like Me?

Monday, June 19th, 2006

I got to know SooLing Steidel through an online German learning website last Monday, then we met last weekend, at Wartenberg, where Vik’s parents stay.
She is a Malaysian, and like me, she is staying in Germany now with her husband, Alexander Steidel. They got married 4 years ago, registered in Denmark as well (but they did it in Nyburg, while Vik and I are going to Sonderburg). Listening to her sharing about all the troubles she had gone through to marry her husband was not an encouraging experience. She had to fly back to Malaysia after the registration, due to some problems with her Visa, which I am not going to explain here. In short, everything was extremely complicated for her. As for me, the probability of me having to fly back to Malaysia in September is there, but Vik is very optimistic about this, and I choose to stay cheerful as well.
I promised SooLing that we will see each other again during my next visit to Vik’s parents place, since her house is just 3 minutes walking distance from Vik’s parents. I guess I will take some pictures with her, and her cute little chinchilla and hamsters.
LIfe is full of surprises. Meeting a Malaysian who speaks "Manglish" and Chinese in a small town like Wartenberg is really something out of my imagination. It is unbelievable, but it is true.

4km Nonstop!

Wednesday, June 14th, 2006

Yes, I’ve made it! Special thanks to Mischa. I am still wondering, if I didn’t meet him at the garden, will I be able to do it? Vik asked me the same question as well.
For some people, jogging 4km is just nothing. Well, I used to think that way as well, as I was quite a sport person in my primary school years. Then things changed, I become lazy, don’t like to sweat, I’m getting old, all sort of lame excuses… Occasionally I go for a swim, but that is more like soaking myself in the pool than really swimming.
So yesterday, as usual, Vik and I went for a jog. The word "jog", for me, is more like "walk". I did try to "really jog" few days ago, yet I just can’t help but to stop after every 200m, and walk for 200m. Vik is okay, he is not the kind of person who will force me to do things. In other words, we have been jogging and walking for the past 4 days, instead of really jogging.
Then yesterday, Mischa appeared in the garden, jogging. Mischa is a friend of Vik, in fact he is the guy I like most among all other Vik’s friends, because he is very considerate, always speaks English with me, haha. Okay, back to the story. We met him, said hello, and I thought fine, he jogs and we walk, since he came from the opposite direction anyway. However, things didn’t turn out that way. He turned and jogged with us. Don’t ask me how, I just jogged and jogged and jogged, one round, two rounds, and then three! Vik was quite concerned most of the time, he kept asking me if I need to rest. My answer, "I’m fine".
It was a good experience, knowing that I can jog again. Will I be able to really jog today, and the day after, when Mischa is not around? We’ll see…
